Crafted with a motor featuring a thick top plate and high motor force, the HDX3 guarantees an efficient speaker design. The innovative design incorporates a taller 4-spoke, cast aluminum frame to accommodate a larger diameter spider, enabling lower tuning and enhanced accuracy. The larger diameter spider, with its new roll profile, maintains low Fs (resonant frequency) without compromising power handling or control.
With a taller and wider surround, the HDX3 offers precise excursion, complemented by new pulp-blend cones that are both stronger and lighter than previous designs.
In our commitment to innovation, we've eliminated the stitching on the 1500 Watt Power Band, marking a significant enhancement over the HDC series subwoofers. Upgrades include a thicker, sturdier aluminum former, black anodizing, double slit venting, and higher temperature resin, all contributing to superior cooling capabilities, enhanced performance, and an extended subwoofer lifespan.
