Engineered for Power, Built for Consistency
At the heart of every FXXL subwoofer is a massive 4” 8-layer high-temp voice coil, designed to handle extreme power and deliver consistent output under heavy demand. Rated at 5000W RMS, this coil provides significantly more surface area and thermal mass than even our FMX Series, resulting in cooler operation, more headroom, and unparalleled reliability. The FXXL bridges the gap between SPL monsters and daily drivability, making it versatile for both competition and high-performance street systems.
Driving that power is a quad-stacked 9.96” (253mm) Y35 ferrite motor, featuring an aluminum shorting ring, pole vents, and four drilled and tapped backplate holes for reinforced mounting or advanced cooling. This motor structure maximizes airflow and heat dissipation, keeping the subwoofer controlled under extreme output conditions.
Mechanically, the FXXL utilizes a full 10” progressive spider pack paired with fiberglass cone support and a hardened paper cone. The cone includes a recessed cavity for the standard forged carbon fiber dust cap, increasing structural integrity at peak excursion. A precision-molded foam surround delivers control, compliance, and longevity, while a secondary internal pressure cap acts as a buffer and structural reinforcement under heavy bass impact.
The result is a subwoofer capable of jaw-dropping output while maintaining control, accuracy, and durability, no matter how extreme the demands.

The FXXL Series carries Sky High’s signature stealth aesthetic, combining all-black styling, a carbon dust cap, tooled SHCA magnet boot, and oversized push terminals for secure, high-current connectivity. Every design detail—from cone geometry to airflow path—was engineered for maximum performance, reliability, and visual appeal.
With low FS and high BL, the FXXL performs across the full bass frequency spectrum, delivering deep, responsive lows, precise punch, and wideband authority. This isn’t just a subwoofer built to be loud—it’s built to excel at every level of performance.

Every FXXL subwoofer is tested using DATS-LA, with measurements taken after full break-in and with the backplate lifted, ensuring accurate and reliable TS parameters.
