The FMX Series from Sky High Car Audio represents the next evolution in our pursuit of high-output, thermally superior, and exceptionally efficient subwoofers built for serious bass enthusiasts. With decades of hands-on experience, competition heritage, and a relentless drive for bigger, smarter bass, the FMX line pushes far beyond conventional design. This isn’t just a larger woofer—it’s a stronger, more intelligent platform engineered to deliver unwavering performance under extreme conditions.
Engineered for Output, Built for Endurance
At the heart of every FMX subwoofer is a massive 3.5” 8-layer high-temp voice coil, the foundation of its performance advantage. This oversized coil allows for:
Top-tier mechanical travel: 37mm Xmax and 44mm Xmech
Over 50% more thermal capacity than standard 3” coils
High efficiency for musical, responsive wideband bass
The result is a subwoofer capable of brutal output while staying cool, controlled, and dynamically accurate.
The FMX Series is rated at 3500W RMS, built for sustained musical power—not just short bursts. A quad-stacked 220mm Y35 ferrite motor produces immense magnetic force, supported by an aluminum shorting ring, pole vents, and four drilled/tapped backplate holes for reinforced mounting or advanced cooling.
A full-size 10” progressive spider pack maintains suspension integrity during extreme excursion, while a secondary internal pressure cap provides reinforcement and reduces stress on the primary dust cap during heavy bass impact.

Connection reliability is ensured by 4-gauge push terminals, designed to handle real-world current demands without restriction.
Designed with low FS and high BL, the FMX Series delivers deep, responsive bass across the full low-frequency range—never a one-note woofer, but a wideband performer capable of both daily lows and competition-level authority.

Every Sky High Car Audio subwoofer is DATS-LA tested after full break-in, measured with the backplate lifted off the surface, ensuring accurate, reliable TS parameters.
