Works Well
I would have given this 5 stars, but there's some small issues with it. The fitment is great but I had to shim the first alternator in the stock position forward in order for the belt to align properly and give belt clearance on the bracket. Otherwise the belt will rub the front of the dual alternator bracket and squeal eventually causing belt failure. It was a small, simple problem to correct. Great product otherwise.

2000 Chevy 5.3 Dual Alt. Bracket
I was very excited to finally install this bracket. I did run into, what I thought was, a slight problem. The belt that was supplied did not wan to fit onto the pulleys, until I realized the idler pulley was adjustable. That was an amazing discovery and it fits perfect and also kept me from having to find a new belt, great job!
