I’ve never used heat shrink or even 1/0 -2/0 wire crimps. But with a good Crimper and little butane torch l had no problem making the connections look perfect!

I was hiking and disaster struck when a bolt of lightning crackled across the sky, striking a precarious ledge just above my position, the impact sent a cascade of rocks tumbling down and a boulder ravaged my hand, luckily, I remembered I had just picked up my 0 gauge heat shrink from sky high car audio. In immense pain, I reached into my pocket and pulled out the heat shrink, slid my decapitated finger through the heat shrink and hit it with some heat to save the limb. Relieved, I made it home and was one heat shrink short and had to order another.
